Company Description I am seeking a PU/Polyurethane Production Engineer/Manager for flexible and Memory foam production to support manufacturing operations for polyurethane-based products. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PU/Polyurethane Production Engineer/Manager role based in Gurgaon. The role involves overseeing daily production activities, ensuring that PU/Polyurethane formulations, mixing, and processing are executed according to specifications and safety standards. The position includes planning and scheduling production runs, monitoring equipment performance, coordinating with maintenance teams, and resolving process issues promptly. The professional in this role will implement and monitor quality control procedures, analyze production data, and drive process improvements to enhance yield, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, training production staff, and preparing technical reports and documentation are also part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Production Engineering and practical experience with PU/Polyurethane manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for troubleshooting process issues, interpreting production data, and optimizing workflows.
- Experience in Production Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with supply chain and maintenance teams.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices, including setting quality standards, conducting inspections, and implementing corrective actions.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, training operators, and documenting procedures and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental compliance, and lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
