Role Description As a Senior Software Engineer, Endpoint Systems, you will design, build, and maintain endpoint components that power ANTS Platform’s visibility, observability, and control across devices and environments. You will be responsible for developing robust, secure, and scalable software that collects telemetry, enforces guardrails, and integrates with our broader AI adoption stack, collaborating closely with backend, data, and product teams. Daily activities include writing production-quality code, reviewing peer implementations, debugging complex system issues, optimizing performance on various operating systems, and contributing to architectural decisions for endpoint services and agents. You will also help improve development practices, documentation, and testing strategies to ensure reliability and compliance. This is a full-time remote role, with collaboration across distributed teams using modern communication and project management tools.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and software architecture.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using modern languages (e.g., Go, Rust, C/C++, Java, or similar) and best practices for production systems.
- Advanced Debugging skills for complex, multi-layered endpoint and system interactions, including performance tuning and troubleshooting in live environments.
- Hands-on experience with Operating Systems (e.g., Windows, macOS, Linux), system internals, and endpoint agents or runtime instrumentation.
- Experience building secure, observable services, including logging, metrics, tracing, and integration with platforms such as OpenTelemetry (OTel).
- Ability to design and implement APIs and integrations with enterprise tools and communication platforms.
- Familiarity with AI/ML-powered applications, compliance, or security-focused products is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
