About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Payment Networks engineering team and contribute to building secure, scalable, and high-performance transaction processing systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD Automation, and Event-Driven Architectures. This role requires experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade applications with a focus on reliability, performance, automation, and secure payment systems.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.
- Ensure application quality and alignment with engineering standards.
- Build high-performance systems supporting large-scale transaction processing.
- Develop microservices and RESTful APIs using modern frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews, pull requests, and software quality initiatives.
Cloud & DevOps Automation
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Automate infrastructure deployment across cloud, private cloud, and bare-metal environments.
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, JavaScript, Go, or similar languages.
- Manage application deployment and maintenance in complex environments.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies.
Performance & Reliability Engineering
- Perform application performance engineering and optimization.
- Support scalable systems across multiple locations and environments.
- Build monitoring dashboards, alerts, and automation frameworks.
- Ensure reliability through continuous integration, testing, and deployment practices.
Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, architecture, and operations teams.
- Support Agile development practices.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively with stakeholders.
