Role Description Medyseva is scaling its MedyAarogya clinic network across Vidarbha (Nagpur) and Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior): targeting 75+ clinics and 37,500+ enrolled families by FY27. We're looking for a Senior Manager – Operations to sit at the center of that expansion — directly managing our BD & Infrastructure Head and Sales Head, holding them accountable for progress, and driving the teams under them to execute.
This is a high-ownership leadership role reporting straight to the CEO — you'll be the operating layer that reviews what's being done, sets direction and priorities for both function heads, and makes sure their teams deliver.
What you'll own
- Direct management of the BD & Infrastructure Head and the Sales Head — review their weekly/monthly progress, set priorities and targets, course-correct where needed
- Oversight of the teams under them: Regional Heads, Centre Coordinators, Resident Nurses, and the VLE partner network across Vidarbha & MP
- End-to-end accountability for field operations performance — clinic setup, staffing, partner onboarding, and revenue ramp-up
- KPI ownership and reporting: MedyCard enrollments, clinic-wise revenue, VLE partner performance, patient experience — with clear escalation of risks and blockers to leadership
- Building and enforcing SOPs and a disciplined MIS/reporting cadence across the field organization
- Acting as the CEO's execution partner on operations, with real scope to expand into new regions (e.g. Chhattisgarh) as we scale
What we're looking for
- 6–9 years in operations, with at least 2–3 years managing managers or function heads — not only individual contributors
- Experience running multi-city or hub-and-spoke field operations, with multiple locations/teams under different regional leads
- Experience in healthcare, telemedicine, or service-based industries, with an understanding of patient-centric operations
- Strong operations management skills, including process optimization, workflow design, and performance monitoring
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and using operational dashboards to inform decisions
- Leadership and team management capabilities, including mentoring, stakeholder coordination, and conflict resolution
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and support strategic planning and execution
- Comfort with technology-driven environments, including familiarity with digital health platforms or similar systems
- Based in or willing to relocate to Indore, with regular travel to regional clinic markets (Nagpur, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior)
- Exposure to last-mile/rural distribution or partner-network models (e.g. franchisee, VLE, CSC, kirana-style networks) is a strong plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations, Management, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field
- Prior experience in a senior or mid-level operations role; experience in a start-up or fast-growing organization is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to bringing quality, equitable healthcare to underserved and rural communities
