Role Description The Merchandiser Manager for Coir products will oversee the planning, sourcing, and coordination of coir product lines, ensuring that assortments meet market demand and company standards. Daily responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, monitoring inventory levels, tracking orders, and coordinating with production, sales, and logistics teams to align supply with customer requirements. The role also involves analyzing sales data, identifying trends, planning promotions, and ensuring that product displays and packaging meet brand guidelines. The Merchandiser Manager will prepare regular reports, support pricing decisions, and contribute to new product development based on market feedback. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Alappuzha.
Qualifications
- Experience in merchandising, product management, or supply chain coordination, preferably within manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- Strong skills in inventory management, demand forecasting, and vendor coordination.
- Ability to analyze sales and market data, prepare reports, and make data-informed merchandising decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple product lines and timelines.
- Familiarity with coir or related natural fiber products is an advantage.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools and basic ERP or inventory management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
