Role Description The Product Development Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. This role involves supporting product managers and the R&D team in exploring new product ideas, refining existing features, and translating customer needs into tangible improvements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market and user research, analyzing product performance data, documenting feature requirements, and assisting in preparing product roadmaps and specifications. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, data science, and business development to ensure product initiatives align with BeFiSc’s fraud detection and risk intelligence goals. The role also includes preparing presentations, contributing to testing and feedback cycles, and maintaining clear communication on project progress.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Market Research and Research and Development (R&D) skills to understand user needs, industry trends, and emerging fraud patterns.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret data, evaluate product performance, and support evidence-based decisions.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings clearly.
- Candidates should possess foundational Product Management skills, including requirement gathering, documentation, and an understanding of product lifecycles.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include pursuit of a degree in Business, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; familiarity with fraud detection, fintech, or risk analytics; comfort with basic data tools (e.g., spreadsheets, visualization tools); and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
