Job Description
Role : Packaging Designer – Artwork & Print Production
Location : Whitefield, Bangalore (Hybrid)
Experience: 3–5 Years
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Packaging Designer to join the creative team supporting global packaging and brand communication initiatives for one of our Fortune 10 brands in the Oil & Gas sector.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in packaging artwork, print production, and prepress processes, with a strong understanding of brand consistency and production accuracy. Exposure to GLM workflows/platforms will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Create and adapt packaging artworks across multiple SKUs and formatsPrepare print-ready files with strong understanding of:Die-linesBleeds & marginsColor modes (CMYK/Pantone)Print specificationsWork on artwork versioning, localization, and content updatesEnsure adherence to global brand guidelines and packaging standardsCoordinate with internal stakeholders, production teams, and print vendorsConduct quality checks for packaging layouts before final releaseSupport prepress and production processes to ensure error-free executionManage multiple packaging adaptation projects within timelines
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in Packaging Design / Artwork ProductionStrong expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesignGood understanding of print production and prepress workflowsExperience working on packaging for FMCG, consumer products, lubricants, chemicals, industrial, or related sectors is preferredExposure to GLM (Global Label Management) workflows/tools is highly preferredStrong attention to detail and file organization practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
Good to Have
Experience working with global brands or enterprise clientsUnderstanding of multilingual packaging adaptationsExposure to regulatory or compliance-heavy packaging environments
