Job Role: Assistant Manager – Merchant Onboarding & Card Operations
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager with strong expertise in Merchant Onboarding, KYC, Documentation, and Card Management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in merchant onboarding processes, payment operations, and banking/card domain compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end merchant onboarding for POS and E-commerce merchants.
- Review Merchant Agreements, KYC documents, Trade Licenses, MOA, Board Resolutions, and other onboarding documents.
- Perform system validations, negative checks, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Verify completeness and accuracy of merchant documentation before onboarding.
- Coordinate with Compliance for approvals and resolve onboarding exceptions.
- Track rejected applications and coordinate with business teams for rectification.
- Monitor document deferrals and ensure timely regularization.
- Prepare daily MIS, productivity reports, and stakeholder reports.
- Support UAT testing for system enhancements and process changes.
- Train internal teams and business stakeholders on policy and process updates.
- Maintain SOPs, RCSAs, MERs, and ensure adherence to operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Risk, and Compliance teams for seamless onboarding.
