Purpose of the Role
Lead the SAP S/4HANA application landscape across Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning and Sales. Define SAP strategy, govern solution architecture, drive business transformation, ensure operational excellence and support global SAP rollouts across manufacturing locations.
Education
- Engineering Degree / MCA
- MBA preferred
Experience
- 15-20+ years IT experience.
- 10+ years SAP leadership experience.
- Minimum 3 full SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Manufacturing industry experience mandatory.
- Experience managing global SAP programmes.
- Experience handling teams of 20-50+ SAP professionals.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Strategy & Transformation
- Define SAP roadmap aligned to business and digital transformation objectives.
- Lead SAP S/4HANA deployments, rollouts and optimisation initiatives.
- Drive standardisation, process harmonisation and Clean Core principles.
- Evaluate new SAP capabilities including AI, BTP, Fiori, Analytics and Process Mining.
SAP Delivery Leadership
- Lead SAP Competency Centre (CoE).
- Manage SAP functional, technical and support teams.
- Govern implementation partners and managed service providers.
- Ensure solution quality during Design, Build, SIT, UAT and Go-Live.
Manufacturing Process Excellence
- Drive optimisation of:
- Production Planning
- Inventory Optimisation
- Procurement Efficiency
- Manufacturing Cost Reduction
- OTIF Improvement
- Shop Floor Visibility
- Integrate SAP with MES, PLM, Quality and Automation platforms.
Governance & Risk Management
- Establish architecture, security and change governance.
- Manage SAP release management and transport governance.
- Ensure audit, compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with CFO, COO, Manufacturing Leaders and Supply Chain Heads.
- Conduct steering committees and executive reviews.
- Translate business strategy into SAP capabilities.
Operational Excellence
- Manage SAP application support.
- Drive SLA compliance and incident reduction.
- Improve data quality and master data governance.
- Measure SAP value realisation through KPIs.
