I run a B2B marketing consultancy producing YouTube video content for SaaS clients plus my own brand. These are comparisons, product walkthroughs, etc. I need a designer to turn finished scripts into finished videos.
This is an ongoing freelance relationship.
What you'll be working from
You won't be handed a script and told to "figure it out." Every video comes with a shot-by-shot storyboard that specifies, line by line:
- The exact voiceover text for that segment
- A plain-English explainer of any technical concept in the scene
- The literal visual: which logos, icons, UI elements, charts, or animated graphics appear, and what they do
- A pull-list of exact assets to source (named logos, icons, screenshots)
- On-screen text/keyword overlays where relevant
- You will have complete freedom to suggest changes to the storyboard before you start
- You take full ownership of the storyboard
Most of our projects are animation-heavy. Occasionally, stock footage is used.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio of animated B2B/SaaS explainer or product videos (not just template-based intros. I want to see custom motion graphics work)
- Good eye for clean, modern SaaS/tech visual style (data flows, dashboards, logo animations, comparison tables)
- Reliable communication and turnaround times
Process
- I send the script + full storyboard for a video
- You will suggest changes to the storyboard. You are the lead here.
- Once the storyboard is locked, you will start working on the project
- One round of revision (as needed)
- Final export in specs I provide
Rates
Please share your rates while applying. You can have a flat per min per project rate or an hourly rate (time tracking will be done for hourly rates).
