🚀 We're Hiring: Application Engineer – AI-Accelerated Development
📍 Location: Remote
💼 Employment Type: Full-Time
Are you a software engineer who uses AI as part of your everyday development workflow? We're looking for an Application Engineer – AI-Accelerated Development to join TAP Innovation and help build modern, enterprise-grade applications powered by AI, cloud technologies, and intelligent automation.
This is a hands-on engineering role—not a prompt engineering position. You'll write production-quality code, build scalable applications, and leverage AI tools to increase both development velocity and software quality.
What You'll Do
✅ Build full-stack applications using .NET 8, React 19, Next.js 15, TypeScript, and Node.js
✅ Design scalable REST APIs, Azure SQL databases, and cloud-native architectures
✅ Build AI-powered applications, MCP servers, and n8n automation workflows
✅ Develop secure integrations using REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, Webhooks, and OpenAPI/Swagger
✅ Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Azure DevOps, Azure Bicep, and Microsoft Azure
✅ Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines
Required Skills
✔️ 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
✔️ Strong experience with:
- TypeScript / JavaScript
- Node.js
- React & Next.js
- .NET (C#)
- NestJS
- SQL Databases
- Docker
- REST APIs
- Git
✔️ Daily experience using AI development tools such as:
- Claude Code
- Cursor
- Windsurf
- GitHub Copilot
- LLM APIs
✔️ Understanding of:
- AI-assisted software development
- Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Agentic AI workflows
- OpenAPI / Swagger
- Cloud Infrastructure (Microsoft Azure)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Infrastructure as Code
