Serve U Better is building a technology enabled family care ecosystem that helps families access trusted services including Elder Care, Child Care, Home Nursing, Home Healthcare, Cooking, Housekeeping, and Family Wellness.
Our mission is to build India's most trusted home care platform while creating meaningful employment opportunities for skilled service professionals.
We're currently building our foundation in Bengaluru with plans to expand across multiple cities.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer (COO) who is passionate about building a company from the ground up.
This is not a conventional executive job. It is a genuine founding opportunity for someone who wants to help build a category-defining company alongside the Founder & CEO.
As Co-Founder & COO, you will take complete ownership of building and scaling our operational engine, developing processes, hiring teams, driving execution, and preparing the business for national expansion.
Your Responsibilites
1) Operations Leadership
- Build and scale end-to-end service delivery operations.
- Develop operational SOPs, quality standards, and execution frameworks.
- Drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Build scalable operational systems for multi-city expansion.
2) Supply Network Development
- Build and manage a trusted network of caregivers, nurses, childcare providers, cooks, housekeeping professionals, and healthcare partners.
- Design onboarding, verification, training, and quality assurance processes.
- Improve workforce engagement, productivity, and retention.
3) Business Expansion
- Lead operational expansion across Bengaluru.
- Develop standardized playbooks for launching new cities.
- Establish regional operating models capable of national scale.
4) Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing operational teams.
- Build a culture centered around ownership, accountability, customer obsession, and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the Founder on hiring key leadership positions.
5) Strategy & Growth
- Define operational KPIs and performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities for automation and technology adoption.
- Contribute to fundraising, strategic partnerships, and long-term business planning.
- Participate in major company decisions as a founding member.
Who We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in Operations, Business Management, Marketplace, Healthcare, Home Services, Hospitality, Logistics, Consumer Services, or a similar domain.
- Previous startup or entrepreneurial experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership and execution skills.
- Comfortable working in an early stage startup environment.
- Passionate about building something meaningful from the ground up.
Equity, Investment & Commitment
This is a founding, equity based opportunity and does not include a salary or stipend.
We are looking for someone who is willing to invest both their time and capital in building the company. In return, the selected Co-Founder will receive an equity stake. Investment amount, equity allocation, and partnership terms will be discussed only with shortlisted candidates.
