Role Description
The Software Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of systems that power The Agentic Loop’s AI-driven content, tools, and learning experiences. In this full-time remote role, the engineer will build and optimize back-end services, APIs, and integrations that support newsletters, daily posts, and educational programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, improving system performance and reliability, collaborating with content and product teams to deliver user-focused solutions, and ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure for AI applications. The role also involves staying current with agentic AI technologies, experimenting with new frameworks, and helping translate technical capabilities into practical tools for the community.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-quality applications.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including building APIs and working with server-side frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to design clean, modular, and maintainable code.
- Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or similar).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, and deployment pipelines (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, CI/CD tools).
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or agentic AI frameworks is a plus, with interest in learning and experimenting in this domain.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, collaborate asynchronously, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
