About Position:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and optimization of billing platforms and client-facing billing solutions within a global payments and risk management environment. The role focuses on delivering accurate, scalable, and compliant billing experiences that support revenue operations and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong product management experience in payments, fintech, banking, billing, or revenue management, with expertise in driving product execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering solutions in an agile environment. The role requires ownership of product strategy, roadmap execution, and continuous improvement of billing capabilities to meet evolving business and customer needs.

What You'll Do:
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for billing products, from inception and requirements through delivery and iteration
- Define and maintain the billing product roadmap, aligned with business objectives, client needs, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Finance, Technology, and Operations teams to deliver accurate, scalable, and auditable billing solutions
- Serve as Scrum Product Owner for billing product squads, including prioritizing features, managing the product backlog, and participating in scrum ceremonies
- Gather and synthesize requirements from internal stakeholders, regional teams, and clients to inform product decisions
- Define clear product requirements addressing invoice accuracy, fee transparency, dispute management, and settlement workflows
- Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and client feedback
- Support resolution of client billing escalations and disputes by working cross-functionally across Technology, Finance, and Client Services
- Ensure billing products remain compliant with financial regulations, audit requirements, and internal billing policies
- Partner with Sales and Client Services to identify client billing pain points and translate them into actionable product enhancements
- Develop input to early stages of product development via sound market, financial, and data analyses, including business case and funding requirements
- Build strong communication with partners across Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, Client Services, Sales.
- Contribute to the broader BIRS product strategy, commercialization, and team execution
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 7 years of relevant work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, PhD)
- 5+ years of product management experience in financial technology, billing systems, payments, or revenue operations is a plus
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful product strategies in a fast-paced, agile environment with demanding timelines
- Experience with billing platforms, invoice management, or financial data systems preferred
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to work with complex financial data and translate insights into product decisions
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interface across levels, regions, cultures, and languages
- Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business trade-offs, generate solutions, and manage uncertainty while driving change management
- Passionate about innovating and delivering truly differentiated products and user experiences
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver clear executive messaging
- Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and results driven
- Analytical, organized, accurate, resourceful and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment, driving rigorous, fact-based recommendations
