Role Description The Facade Designer will be responsible for designing and detailing building facades, including windows, cladding, and glazing systems, in line with project specifications and aesthetic requirements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing shop drawings, coordinating with architects, consultants, and internal teams, and ensuring designs comply with structural, safety, and performance standards. The role involves frequent site visits to assess installation feasibility, resolve design issues, and support project execution in collaboration with the project and installation teams. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring close interaction with the manufacturing unit and project sites to ensure design accuracy and quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in facade concept development and detailed Facade Design.
- Candidates should possess skills in working with Facade systems, including Cladding solutions.
- Candidates should possess skills in Glazing design and integration with window and facade assemblies.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing, interpreting, and revising Shop Drawings.
- Proficiency in CAD or similar design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for facade detailing.
- Understanding of building codes, structural principles, and material properties related to facades.
- Strong attention to detail, spatial visualization skills, and the ability to solve design and site-related issues.
- Relevant academic background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field; experience in facade or window design is an advantage.
