The Role
DotKonnekt is scaling its enterprise AI delivery 3x-5x over the next 18-24 months. As the Head of AI Delivery, you will:
- Own end-to-end execution across a portfolio of US, UAE, and India engagements, from discovery and solutioning through deployment and value realization.
- Carry accountability for delivery outcomes, technical quality, and client satisfaction across all active programs.
- Bring hands-on technical depth to the role - reviewing code and architecture decisions, unblocking engineering teams on hard problems, and representing delivery credibly in CXO-level steering committees.
This is a high-growth leadership position. You will build the delivery operating model, scale the team, and shape how DotKonnekt delivers AI to global enterprises. The scope will expand with the company's growth trajectory.
What you will drive
- Delivery execution across active engagements - staffing, scoping, governance, risk, and on-time outcomes against committed business value.
- Technical quality of production AI systems - architecture reviews, design decisions, and engineering standards across all engagements. You are expected to be close enough to the work to diagnose technical blockers directly.
- Client relationships with US and global enterprise stakeholders - steering committees, QBRs, escalations, and expansion conversations alongside the founders.
- Delivery operating model - pods, playbooks, estimation, quality gates, and metrics designed to scale 3x-5x without losing velocity or craft.
- Talent - hiring, mentoring, and developing engagement managers, FDEs, and technical leads. Building a delivery culture that attracts strong engineers who care equally about engineering rigor and shipping outcomes.
- Cross-functional partnership with GTM, Product, and the founders' office on pre-sales solutioning, proposals, and partner-led pursuits.
Required experience and skills
- 10-12 Experience years in technology program delivery, with a strong engineering foundation and progressive delivery leadership experience at product engineering firms, AI/ML startups, or the technology practices of established consulting or services firms.
- Hands-on technical skills that are current. You can read and review code and have built or led the build of complex systems - data pipelines, ML platforms, distributed services, or AI-powered products.
- Track record delivering complex technology programs for enterprise customers - ideally multi-quarter engagements with meaningful scope and cross-functional dependencies.
- Working understanding of AI and LLM-based systems. You should understand agent architectures, orchestration patterns, RAG, evaluation frameworks, and the operational realities of deploying LLM-based systems in production.
- Executive presence. Comfortable engaging senior leaders - customer decision makers, partners, and CTOs - on both business and technical topics.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus but not required.
