About The Role
The Cloud Presales Engineer (Solution Architect) at Cyfuture plays a pivotal role in designing comprehensive cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to client needs across private, public, and hybrid cloud environments. This position involves collaborating closely with sales, technical teams, and clients to understand requirements, develop detailed architecture designs, and prepare compelling proposals. The role requires a strong technical acumen in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, and virtualization technologies like VMware. The successful candidate will support enterprise customer engagements by providing technical expertise, solution demonstrations, and proof of concept support to ensure client satisfaction and successful project execution. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with leading cloud technologies and OEM partners, contributing to the growth and success of Cyfuture’s cloud solutions portfolio.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech, BE, MCA, or an equivalent qualification. Relevant professional certifications such as VMware VCP, AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Microsoft Azure Administrator/Architect, Google Cloud Associate, or Kubernetes certifications are highly preferred. Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in cloud solutions, presales, or solution architecture roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of cloud platforms, virtualization, networking, and infrastructure components. Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects efficiently. A proactive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and a passion for technology are critical to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Cloud Presales Engineer (Solution Architect) include:
- Designing private cloud solutions tailored to client requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Developing public cloud solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, including hybrid cloud architectures.
- Architecting VMware-based cloud environments and integrating Kubernetes platforms for container orchestration.
- Creating disaster recovery and backup solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Performing compute, storage, and network sizing to optimize infrastructure performance and cost-efficiency.
- Designing security architectures, including firewall, IAM, VPN, and DDoS mitigation strategies.
- Preparing detailed proposals, RFP/RFI responses, technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and scope definitions.
- Estimating commercial costs, infrastructure BOM, licensing, and managed services pricing.
- Engaging with clients to gather requirements, conduct technical workshops, and present solutions.
- Supporting proof of concept (POC) demonstrations and addressing technical queries from clients.
- Coordinating with OEM partners such as VMware, Dell, HPE, Cisco, NVIDIA, and others for solution integration and support.
