Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid Landscape Architect role based in Udaipur, with flexibility for some work from home. The Landscape Architect will develop concept and detailed landscape designs, prepare planting plans, and create drawings, presentations, and documentation for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Responsibilities include site analysis, landscape planning, preparing master plans, coordinating with architects and engineers, and ensuring that designs align with sustainability and local regulations. The role involves meeting clients, understanding project requirements, providing design recommendations, and participating in design reviews. The Landscape Architect will also oversee implementation support, coordinate with contractors, and conduct site visits to ensure design quality and adherence to specifications.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Landscape Planning and Landscape Architecture, with the ability to translate site analysis into coherent design strategies.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Landscape Design and Landscaping, including preparation of layout plans and detailed construction drawings.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Planting Plans, including plant selection, zoning, and documentation suited to local climate and maintenance requirements.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with visualization tools.
- Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and understanding of sustainable and climate-responsive landscape practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and interact with clients and contractors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and conduct site visits in and around Udaipur as required.
