About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Placement Coordinator to manage placement activities by building strong relationships with colleges and industry partners. The ideal candidate should have experience coordinating with educational institutions and companies to facilitate internships and job placements for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with colleges, universities, and educational institutions for placement drives and recruitment activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with HR teams, recruiters, and corporate partners to generate placement opportunities.
- Schedule and organize campus interviews, placement drives, career fairs, and recruitment events.
- Match student profiles with employer requirements and assist in the recruitment process.
- Maintain a database of employer contacts, placement opportunities, and student records.
- Follow up with companies regarding interview schedules, hiring updates, and feedback.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure students are placement-ready.
- Prepare placement reports and track placement statistics.
- Identify new companies and industries for internship and employment opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
- 1–2 years of experience in placement coordination, campus relations, HR recruitment, or business development.
- Experience communicating with colleges, universities, and corporate HR teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Good organizational and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Existing network with colleges and recruiters will be an added advantage.
- Experience in the education, training, EdTech, or skill development sector is preferred.
- Familiarity with campus recruitment processes and placement management.
