Build the future of how engineers build software.
We’re looking for a hands-on AI & Developer Experience leader who wants to solve a bigger problem than just building another AI feature.
This role sits at the intersection of AI, engineering productivity, developer experience, platform engineering, and automation. You’ll work across engineering teams to remove friction, automate repetitive work, introduce practical AI workflows, and fundamentally improve how software is built, tested, shipped, and operated.

🚀 What You’ll Own
- Define and drive the AI & DevX roadmap across the engineering organization.
- Identify high-impact opportunities where AI and agentic development can improve engineering speed and quality.
- Build AI-powered workflows around code generation, testing, debugging, documentation, code reviews, incident analysis, and engineering knowledge.
- Create internal developer platforms, tooling, templates, golden paths, and self-service capabilities that make engineers more productive.
- Improve the complete developer journey — from local setup and development to CI/CD, deployment and production feedback.
- Establish practical frameworks for adopting AI safely, including evaluation, guardrails, observability, security, and responsible rollout.
- Partner with engineering leaders across squads to identify recurring pain points and turn them into scalable solutions.
- Drive measurable improvements across engineering productivity, lead time, deployment reliability, CI stability, change failure rate, code review turnaround, and onboarding.
- Influence architecture, automation strategies, tooling choices, and engineering standards.
- Stay hands-on — prototype, build, review, unblock and solve complex problems when required.
- Mentor engineers and leaders on effectively leveraging AI, platform capabilities, and modern engineering practices.
🧠 What We’re Looking For
Must Have
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, with strong depth in backend or platform engineering.
- Experience driving Developer Experience, Engineering Productivity, Platform Engineering, or Internal Developer Tooling initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI tooling, Agentic Development, and AI-assisted software engineering workflows.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, systems design, reliability, security, and scalability.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD, testing, release engineering, observability, and developer platforms.
- Ability to influence and drive change across multiple engineering teams without relying on formal authority.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to turn complex engineering problems into clear plans and working solutions.
- Strong ownership mindset with a bias toward action and pragmatic problem-solving.
Good to Have
- Experience with Internal Developer Platforms, workflow automation, policy-as-code, or platform engineering at scale.
- Experience building or operationalizing LLM-powered workflows, AI agents, evaluation frameworks, RAG/retrieval systems, or internal AI copilots.
- Experience working in fintech, commerce, consumer, or high-scale merchant platforms.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and operating as a technical multiplier across teams.
- Exposure to cloud-native architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and security-focused engineering practices.
