Product Manager – NxtWave (PM-L1 / PM-L2)
We hire at two levels (PM-L1 and PM-L2). Scope and expectations are calibrated to experience, but this is a single JD for both. You’ll learn where you slot during the interview process.

We’re building an AI-first suite of edtech products—spanning teaching, learning, assessment, practice, and partner management—that helps hundreds of thousands of students upskill in latest technologies.
As a Product Manager at NxtWave, you’ll turn strategy into roadmap milestones and ship high-quality experiences across web and mobile that improve learning outcomes and business results.
What you’ll do
Strategy & Discovery
- Translate company/category strategy into a clear product narrative and milestones
- Drive customer discovery (students, mentors, employers): interviews, JTBDs, journey maps
- Size opportunities with data; run competitive scans and build-vs-buy assessments
AI-first Product Delivery
- Ship features leveraging LLMs, agents, retrieval, and automation; write crisp PRDs/DRDs
- Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data for fast, high-quality delivery
- Maintain backlog clarity and sequencing across multiple initiatives
Metrics, Insights & Growth
- Define success metrics; instrument events; build dashboards and run A/B tests
- Analyze cohorts, funnels, retention; convert insights into iteration plans
- Work with Growth on activation, engagement, and SEO/content strategies
Stakeholder & GTM Alignment
- Collaborate with Business Owners (P&L), CX/Support, and Marketing
- Create clear decision documents and drive cross-functional alignment
- Enable teams with release notes, playbooks, and GTM coordination
Quality, Risk & Ethics
- Own pre-launch QA, rollout safety (guardrails, fallback), and post-launch adoption
- Ensure learner privacy, data safety, and ethical AI usage
EdTech Nuance
- Incorporate pedagogy, assessment integrity, and accessibility
- Work with Curriculum/Content teams on pipelines and standards
What success looks like (First 90–180 days)
- Ship 2+ milestones impacting core KPIs (learning outcomes or revenue)
- Establish strong experiment cadence (measure → learn → iterate)
- Improve stakeholder satisfaction through clear planning and delivery
Qualifications
Must-have
- 3+ years of product management with end-to-end ownership (0→1 / 1→n)
- Proven ownership of meaningful product work
- Strong product analytics (SQL/Sheets + Amplitude/Mixpanel or similar)
- Exposure to AI stack (OpenAI/Agents, LangChain/LangGraph, vector DBs, RAG)
- Familiarity with tools like Lovable, Replit, CrewAI
- Strong written communication and storytelling
- Ability to work in ambiguity with strong prioritization
Nice-to-have
- EdTech / learning science / gamification / subscription growth experience
- Platform integrations (payments, identity, CRM)
- Ownership of revenue/cost levers or multi-team coordination
Location & Work Week
- Location: Hyderabad (HITEC City)
- Work Week: Monday–Friday (5 days)
Compensation
- Fixed salary + annual variable + multi-year retention component
- Final structure depends on level and experience
