Profile: Firmware Technical Lead
Experience: 7 to 10 years of embedded firmware design and development.
CTC: 28 LPA
(Hike will be given as per Market Standard % , experience and skill-sets)
Qualification: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Applied Electronics & Instrumentation, Computer Science, or a related discipline with a good academic track record.
Office working:
Monday to Friday, from office (no work from home).
9am to 6pm
Interview rounds:
1> Face to face interviews at Tismo office.
2> Three technical rounds and one HR round.
Job Responsibility -
• Lead the embedded firmware team by providing technical direction, architecture guidance, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Design, develop, and test embedded firmware using C/C++ on Bare Metal, RTOS, and Embedded Linux platforms.
• Define firmware and system architecture for embedded products in Life Science, Industrial Automation, and IoT/IIoT domains.
• Own the complete embedded product development life cycle from requirements gathering, design,implementation, testing, debugging, validation, and product release.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers for board bring-up, hardware–firmware integration, system debugging, and product validation.
• Interact with customers to understand technical requirements, participate in design reviews, and ensure successful project delivery.
Key Skills -
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ with hands-on experience in Bare Metal, RTOS, and Embedded Linux.
• Experience in firmware architecture design, real-time systems, and embedded software development.
• Experience leading or mentoring embedded firmware engineering teams.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex embedded systems.
• Experience in complete embedded product development life cycle.
• Good understanding of digital, analog, and power electronics with exposure to hardware–firmware integration.
• Experience in board bring-up, system debugging, and working closely with hardware design teams.
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, or similar interfaces.
• Exposure to Embedded Linux BSP/Driver development and networking protocols is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, customer interaction, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
