Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Business System Analyst with strong expertise in
business analysis, data analysis, SQL, and US Healthcare domain.
The ideal candidate will work as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting critical business applications, analyzing system issues, defining requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
The candidate should have strong experience working with
Data Warehouse/Data Lake applications, SQL development, reporting environments, and healthcare systems, preferably within
Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM).
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & System Analysis - Provide support for critical business applications.
- Triage issues reported by system users and drive resolution.
- Collaborate with business users, development teams, architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure service levels and business satisfaction.
- Work with application architects, developers, QA teams, and technical teams to deliver successful solutions.
- Assist in designing system solutions that support overall business strategies.

- Define project scope, objectives, and system specifications to drive development and implementation.
- Act as a liaison between IT and business users.
- Demonstrate both business and technical expertise to support solution delivery.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Create and execute feature testing and identify environmental requirements.
- Ensure technical solutions meet business needs and objectives.
- Proactively identify system enhancement opportunities and future improvements.
Data Warehouse / Data Lake Responsibilities - Work extensively with Data Warehouse and Data Lake applications.
- Design, build, and support components of data warehouse environments, including:
- ETL Processes
- Databases
- Reports
- Reporting Environments
- Identify, analyze, and document requirements for:
- New data warehouse components
- Existing data warehouse enhancements
- Reports and analytics solutions
- Perform data analysis and validation using advanced SQL queries.
- Support data-driven business decisions through accurate reporting and analytics.
Tools & Technical Expertise - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- SQL
- Database concepts
- Complex query development
- Query optimization techniques
- Indexing strategies
- Experience with:
- Understanding of application development and testing processes.
- Ability to analyze system workflows, data flows, and technical solutions.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- B.Tech / B.E
- MCA
- Computer Science or related field
Required Experience - 6+ years of experience working with Data Warehouse or Data Lake applications.
- 6+ years of experience with SQL, including:
- Complex query development
- Data analysis
- Query optimization
- Performance tuning
- 6+ years of experience in a System Analyst / Business Analyst role.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and technology solutions.
