About SoftwareHunt
Indian businesses are overwhelmed by software and AI choices and short on honest guidance. SoftwareHunt is building the trusted place they turn to for clarity — not just a marketplace for visibility or another sales team that pushes products, but a guide that streamlines and personalizes their entire buying journey
We're incubated within Software@Work — 30+ years of helping 20,000+ businesses across 40+ industries, including Accenture, Tata Motors, Dream11, Naturals Ice Cream, Mercedes-Benz, ArcelorMittal and Samsonite. Now we're building SoftwareHunt into a brand people follow for clarity on software and AI
The Role
This is a front-row seat. You'll work out of the founder's office, directly with the founder, helping turn ideas into a steady stream of content that builds SoftwareHunt into a brand people follow and engage with.
You'll take outlines and briefs from the team and make them real — fast. Often it won't be "here's the content"; it'll be "here's the idea, go get the story." Because here's the unfair advantage: through Software@Work, SoftwareHunt sits at the intersection of an entire ecosystem - from product founders and partners, to experts and real businesses with real problems. There are remarkable stories and conversations all around us, every week. Your job is to go get them and turn them into content through posts, carousels, short-form videos and simple explainers and keep it all moving out the door consistently.
You don't need to be a software expert. You need to be the bridge, curious enough to pull a real story out and sharp enough to turn it into something people actually stop and watch. You're hands-on, you make good content yourself, and you keep it moving out the door every day. What we need in-house is real skill, speed, hunger, and someone who gets things shipped. External resources and tools are here to assist you.
What you'll do
- Create, fast — posts, carousels, short-form videos and explainers, from briefs and narratives you're given.
- Go get the story — from an outline, connect with the experts, partners and business owners around us, pull out what's real, and capture the raw material (on a call, on the ground, on your phone).
- Keep the rhythm going — turn ideas into content in hours, and maintain a consistent publishing cadence.
- Keep every piece on track — package work clearly, chase turnarounds, and make sure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Hold a quality bar — care about hooks, clarity and how things look and read, and improve fast when something can be better.
Who you are
- You make content and can prove it - reels, posts, edits, a page, a channel, anything you've actually shipped.
- You're fast and dependable - you'd rather get a strong version out today than a perfect one next month.
- You're comfortable making content yourself — enough to shoot and put together basics so nothing stalls.
- You're good with people and genuinely curious — you'll happily sit with our software experts and partner teams, ask the right questions, and walk away with a story worth telling.
- You're tool-fluent, especially with today's AI and content tools — you pick things up fast and use them well.
- You take feedback without ego and get sharper every week.
- You're genuinely into this — you'd be making content anyway. You're curious about business, about AI, about how this all works.
This role is not for you if
- You only want to write long-form and won't touch video, social, or fast turnarounds.
- You want to stay heads-down behind a screen. A lot of the best content here starts with a conversation — if talking to people you don't know drains you, this won't be your thing.
- You wait to be told what to do next instead of asking "what can I ship today?"
