Role Description The Lighting Designer at VCNYHome will be responsible for creating residential lighting concepts and fixtures that align with the brand’s aesthetic and functional standards. Day-to-day activities include developing lighting plans, sketching and rendering concepts, selecting materials and finishes, and collaborating closely with product development, sourcing, and interior design teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness. The role involves coordinating with manufacturers, reviewing samples, and refining designs based on performance, quality, and feedback. The Lighting Designer will also stay current with lighting trends, technologies, and regulations to inform new product lines and design improvements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Lighting Design and general Lighting concepts for residential and interior applications.
- Candidates should possess experience in Architectural Lighting and Interior Design to integrate fixtures seamlessly into various spaces.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Lighting Control systems and their practical application in home environments.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with design and visualization tools (e.g., CAD, 3D modeling, rendering software) for developing and presenting lighting concepts.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of lighting materials, finishes, basic electrical considerations, and relevant safety standards.
- Candidates should possess strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in lighting or home décor design is preferred.
