Job Description
Summary
VisionSpring seeks a highly motivated, analytically strong, and detail-oriented Resource Mobilization Outreach Coordinator to support the advancement of its global fundraising function. This role is designed for high-potential early-career professionals who are eager to build a career in fundraising, philanthropy, and global development.
The Coordinator will work closely with senior Resource Mobilization leaders to strengthen VisionSpring’s fundraising engine — supporting donor reporting, early-stage donor engagement, pipeline operations, and the development of high-quality donor materials. This is not a purely administrative role; it is a critical position that enables the quality, speed, and coordination of VisionSpring’s fundraising efforts.
The role provides exposure across institutional and individual fundraising, including foundations, corporates, and high-net-worth individuals, and is designed as a 2–3 year growth opportunity for candidates who want to develop into more senior fundraising roles over time.
In FY2025, VisionSpring delivered $16.6M in revenue (32% year-over-year growth) and secured $27.8M in new commitments, reflecting strong momentum across its global fundraising portfolio. This growth has increased the scale, complexity, and coordination required across teams to effectively manage donor engagement, reporting, and pipeline development.
As VisionSpring advances its 2026–2030 strategy - targeting 20 million people with affordable eyeglasses - the organization is investing in strengthening its Resource Mobilization function. This includes building more robust systems, improving data quality and reporting processes, and ensuring faster, more coordinated execution across fundraising activities.
This role is a critical part of that effort, supporting the infrastructure, processes, and cross-team coordination required to sustain and accelerate fundraising growth.
Why VisionSpring
VisionSpring is at an inflection point. With strong fundraising momentum and an ambitious five-year strategy, the organization is investing in building a more sophisticated and scalable Resource Mobilization function.
This role sits at the center of that effort -enabling high-quality donor engagement, supporting decision-making, and strengthening the systems that underpin fundraising growth. For candidates who are analytically strong, curious, and motivated to learn, this is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full fundraising lifecycle while contributing to a high-impact global organization.
About You
- You are analytical, organized, and energized by the challenge of making complex processes run smoothly. You understand that great fundraising isn't just about the pitch — it's about the infrastructure behind it: clean data, well-timed reports, and perfectly synthesized briefs that equip senior leaders to walk into donor meetings fully prepared.
- You are a builder of systems, not just a keeper of them. You see a messy pipeline and want to streamline it. You notice a gap in a reporting process and move to close it. You don't wait to be told what needs to happen — you anticipate it, flag it, and follow through.
- You are a strong communicator — able to draft a compelling LOI, a clear outreach email, or a concise prospect brief with equal confidence. You know how to distill complex information into materials that are polished, purposeful, and ready for a senior audience.
- You are curious and resourceful. You love the research side of fundraising — digging into a prospective funder's strategy, surfacing insights others miss, and using digital tools to work smarter and faster.
- You are a natural coordinator — comfortable working across teams, time zones, and cultures to bring together the right inputs at the right time, communicating with the clarity and professionalism that earns trust across a global organization.
- You see this role as a chance to learn the full fundraising life cycle, develop real expertise, and join a growing team at an organization that is scaling fast.
- Above all, you are driven by impact — inspired by VisionSpring's mission to bring clear vision to millions of people worldwide, and eager to be part of the engine that fuels that growth.
About Us

- Exceptional attention to detail; ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work across global, cross-functional teams and coordinate inputs effectively.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred; strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Comfort using AI tools for research, synthesis, and productivity strongly encouraged.
- Demonstrated interest in international development, global health, or social enterprise.
