About the Role
We are building a Fashion AI Studio that helps fashion brands, retailers, marketplaces and buying houses improve margins, reduce waste and accelerate time-to-market.
We are looking for a senior fashion-tech and AI leader who can identify high-value industry problems, design commercially viable AI solutions, lead customer pilots and build a revenue-generating product portfolio.This is not a pure engineering or research role. The ideal candidate will understand fashion business operations and be able to connect AI solutions to measurable commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify AI opportunities across trend forecasting, design, merchandising, demand planning, inventory, personalization, fit, supply chain and sustainability.
- Work with fashion brands, retailers and buying houses to understand business problems and define solution requirements.
- Own the journey from problem discovery to solution design, pilot, deployment and commercialization.
- Define the fashion AI product roadmap and decide what to build, buy or integrate.
- Lead the architecture of scalable, secure and production-ready AI systems.
- Guide teams working on forecasting, recommendations, computer vision, generative AI, LLMs and optimization.
- Develop ROI models, pilot plans, proposals and client presentations.
- Work with the founder on partnerships, business development and revenue generation.
- Build and mentor a team of AI engineers, data scientists, product managers and solution architects.
- Establish standards for data quality, model evaluation, MLOps, security and responsible AI.
Required Experience
- 10–18 years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in fashion, retail, e-commerce, marketplaces or fashion technology.
- Proven experience building and launching AI, ML, analytics or data products used by real customers or business teams.
- Strong understanding of the fashion value chain, including design, sourcing, merchandising, buying, inventory, e-commerce or supply chain.
- Experience taking solutions from discovery and prototyping to production and customer adoption.
- Experience leading client discussions, pilots, solution consulting, partnerships or enterprise sales.
- Experience managing and mentoring cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong understanding of Python, SQL, machine learning, cloud platforms, data pipelines and MLOps.
- Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG, vector databases, generative AI and computer vision.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts to fashion executives and other non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Background
Experience at fashion, retail or fashion-tech companies such as EDITED, Stylumia, Myntra, SHEIN, Amazon Fashion, AJIO, Flipkart, Nykaa Fashion, Reliance Retail, Heuritech, Vue.ai, Syte, Centric Software, Lectra, Browzwear, Blue Yonder or similar organizations would be valuable and most preferred. Professionals with no working knowledge of fashion may not apply.
The company name alone is not sufficient. Candidates must demonstrate personal ownership of a product, solution, client outcome, team or revenue opportunity.
