Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end SDLC for core banking/payment platforms, including UPI, built from scratch
- Ensure architecture meets high-throughput, low-latency requirements
- Set up and lead a small, focused engineering team
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities
- Contribute as a hands-on coder, working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Tech Stack: Java, Spring Boot, AWS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
Requirements
- Proven experience building fintech/banking systems from inception (not support/maintenance roles)
- Strong background in payment systems, core banking, and UPI
- Experience leading a small engineering team and handling security remediation
- Hands-on coder, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
