Role Description The Senior Project Architect will lead the design and delivery of architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring alignment with client requirements, building codes, and quality standards. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves developing and reviewing architectural drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, managing submittals, and providing technical guidance to project teams. The Senior Project Architect will oversee project timelines, participate in design reviews, and support sustainability initiatives where applicable. The role includes mentoring junior staff, resolving design and construction issues, and maintaining clear documentation and communication throughout all project phases.
Qualifications
- Strong architectural design and technical skills, with experience in Architecture across multiple project types.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and delivery of complex architectural projects.
- Experience managing Submittals and construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for design, coordination, and visualization.
- Understanding of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) or similar green building standards is preferred.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Several years of experience in an architectural firm, including leading projects and teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with clients, consultants, and site teams.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Bengaluru or the broader region.
