Role Description The Training and Placement Officer (TPO) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The TPO will plan, organize, and manage campus placement activities, including coordinating with corporate partners, scheduling recruitment drives, and maintaining relationships with existing and potential recruiters. Daily responsibilities include engaging with students to understand their career goals, conducting or arranging training sessions on employability skills, and maintaining up-to-date placement records and reports. The role involves collaborating with faculty, administration, and industry professionals to enhance placement opportunities and ensure alignment with market trends. The TPO will also represent the institutes in external forums, industry interactions, and networking events to strengthen the placement ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills to liaise effectively with students, recruiters, and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess organizational, planning, and coordination skills to manage placement drives, training programs, and related events efficiently.
- Candidates should possess analytical and reporting skills, including data management, documentation, and the ability to track placement statistics and outcomes.
- Candidates should possess networking and industry outreach skills to build and maintain connections with corporate partners and professional bodies.
- Relevant qualifications such as a graduate or postgraduate degree in Management, Human Resources, or a related field, with prior experience in training and placement, corporate relations, or career services will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with current industry trends, campus recruitment processes, and basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, online collaboration tools) will be advantageous.
