About the role
We are looking for an iOS (SwiftUI) Intern to assist in developing and enhancing the Wizdom app for Apple platforms. You will work closely with our engineering and design teams to create seamless, user-friendly experiences. This role is perfect for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in SwiftUI development, WidgetKit implementation, and iOS app performance optimization while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Update SwiftUI Views – Collaborate with the dev team to create intuitive, responsive, and visually appealing SwiftUI interfaces.
WidgetKit Implementations – Assist in designing and implementing home-screen widgets using SwiftUI and WidgetKit for new and existing apps.
Code Reviews & Best Practices – Participate in code reviews, learn best practices for iOS development, and continually refine your skills.
Feature Prototyping – Work on prototypes for new features, integrating them into our existing products under the guidance of senior developers.
Debugging & Testing – Troubleshoot and debug issues in the iOS app, ensuring a seamless user experience and top-notch performance.
Collaboration – Interact with cross-functional teams (design, product management, QA) to build features aligned with user needs and company goals.
What We're Looking For:
Pursuing or Recently Graduated – A student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
SwiftUI Familiarity – Comfortable with Swift and have a foundational grasp of SwiftUI concepts, including views, modifiers, and state management.
Mobile Development Knowledge – Basic understanding of iOS frameworks, Xcode, and iOS app lifecycle.
Problem-Solving Mindset – Willingness to dive into issues, learn quickly, and propose creative solutions.
Team Player – Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, and senior engineers.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with WidgetKit or personal projects showcasing iOS home-screen widgets.
Familiarity with Apple frameworks such as Combine, Core Data, or UIKit.
Experience with Git, GitHub, or other version control systems.
Understanding of iOS app distribution and TestFlight.
