Starting pay is $21.835 per hour.
- Check lighting daily and replace bulbs and tubes when necessary.
- Monitor inventory of janitorial supplies, coffee, paper goods etc. for the Cooperative’s use. Order supplies when needed.
- Verify operations of fire extinguishers.
- Monitor the heating and cooling units, complete maintenance to obtain maximum performance.
- Change and clean filters on heating units and humidifiers as required.
- Properly dispose of mercury vapor and fluorescent light bulbs.
- Occasionally complete an inspection of the building and grounds.
- Other activities may be assigned by the immediate supervisor such as running errands as necessary (post office, bank, local stores)
- Miscellaneous painting when needed.
- Dust furniture and equipment when needed.
- Keep the floors in the office vacuumed, cleaned, and polished.
- Clean walls, windows, and office equipment, sanitize and polish all vitreous fixture including toilet bowls, urinals, hand basins, and inspect plumbing equipment.
- Remove all wastepaper from the offices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Requires a valid Florida driver's license.
