Wishlink is a well-funded, early-stage startup, on a mission to shape the creator economy and change how people shop. Our mission is to build a hyper-personalized shopping experience for every user, which is creator-led, so that every user can get exactly what they are looking for. We are on a mission to define new charters at the intersection of two of the most prominent aspects of the internet - e-commerce and social media.

We’re 3 founders, Chandan, Shaurya, and Divyansh, with a shared passion to solve real-world problems at scale and consume content for hours (XD). We started Wishlink in January 2022 when we discovered products on social media that we wanted to buy but could not (in some cases, actually did)! We are based out of Gurugram. We have recently raised a series A round of $7M, led by Fundamentum & Elevation Capital.

We have grown remarkably in the last 4 months and are doing a monthly GMV of over Rs. 150cr. You will have the opportunity to grow and scale the engineering infrastructure and the organisation to the next level of scale.

What Would You be Doing?

Watch Reels and YouTube videos every day & level up on your fashion sense!
Be a part of the Wishlink Shopping App (Android, iOS) team and build data science models to recommend content and products to end users.
OR
Be a part of the central Data Science team to:
- Gather and understand areas which can bring impact via data science and machine learning
- Suggest 10x improvements in the current product which ML can enable
- Work on recommendation systems, similarity matching, search, statistical models, computer vision models, etc.
Explore and experiment with techniques and algorithms to find the optimum solution
Build and deploy models end-to-end for product engineering teams to use
Play around with data and extract actionable insights
Explore generative AI models and build solutions to create 10x impact in business
Write maintainable and scalable code, and know when to trade code quality for faster delivery
Communicate with both technical and non-technical teams to identify and solve roadblocks in advance.
Solve new business problems using technology every day

What we are looking for

If you are a content creator yourself or have worked closely in the social media space - we like you already :)

Business-oriented problem-solving mindset
Willing to work in a fast-paced startup environment and follow Agile practices
3+ years of experience in building Machine Learning/Deep Learning models.
Proficiency in Python(OOPs) and SQL.
Experience in deploying Machine Learning models in production.
Experience with using cloud services (AWS/GCP).
Past experience in managing real time apis is a plus.
Past experience in building and managing Search and Recommendation Engines is a plus.
Willingness to learn new stacks and technologies to solve new business problems
Proficient in using Linux-based systems (any of Ubuntu/CentOS/MacOS/etc) and bash
Above everything, willing to learn continuously and keep improving
