About The Role
Weights & Biases is hiring a product-focused Software Engineer to join our Models team. This team works on centralizing and enhancing the ML development experience for thousands of daily users. As a member of this team, you will lead product initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help shape features that empower ML engineers to collaborate and accelerate model development.
You will contribute directly to improving our platform through close interaction with customers and internal teams. Your work will span technical design, implementation, performance improvements, and feature deployment, all while ensuring customer needs remain central to development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of new product features that support ML team collaboration
- Collaborate with engineers to address technical and performance challenges
- Improve team productivity and streamline development processes
- Work closely with customers, designers, and PMs to iterate on product feedback
- Translate complex user requirements into clear, actionable features
Requirements
- Several years of full-stack engineering experience building user-facing products
- Proficiency in React and TypeScript
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering and at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C++)
- Experience working with time series data or data visualization tools is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software from design to launch
- Ability to synthesize ambiguous problems into well-defined solutions
- Interest in AI/ML and eagerness to grow in this domain
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Salary Range: $177,000 – $245,000 per year
