About The Role

We are seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. This is a fully remote role open to candidates based anywhere in the U.S. As a front-end engineer at FHF, you’ll have the opportunity to build impactful, production-ready software that drives meaningful change for our customers and partners in the auto finance industry.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to implement scalable and intuitive user interfaces while becoming an expert in our systems. Location: Remote (U.S. Residents only)

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain production-grade frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Debug and optimize codebases, ensuring performance and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
  • Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to deliver new features
  • Provide support for live applications and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with your team in a remote work environment
  • Learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, agile environment

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks like React or similar
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science (BS/MS in CS or related field preferred)
  • Familiarity with backend technologies such as Spring Framework, Hibernate, JPA
  • Experience working with relational databases like Oracle or MSSQL
  • Exposure to REST APIs and building server-side logic
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, especially AWS and Lambda functions
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, Git, SonarQube
  • Experience with Agile development practices
  • Comfort working in containerized environments with Docker
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Compensation

  • Base salary starting at $110,000+, plus bonus (depending on experience)
