About the Role:

In the recent past, gaming as a sector has become attractive even amongst investors. Gaming saw deals worth more than $100 billion during 2022, making it the industry darling globally. During the last years, gaming saw a huge lift due to people preferring social entertainment and partially because of the value being created by companies who practiced responsible M&A. WinZO has its own $50 million Game Developer’s Fund and a Gaming Lab to support India’s Gaming ecosystem.

As a member of the core team, you will be responsible for international expansion, strategically identifying and investing in attractive opportunities, investments in mergers & acquisitions in India as well as global opportunities and identifying areas of collaboration for organic growth. You will be working in a fast-paced environment which will require you to take initiatives with complete ownership, manage multiple projects, and drive execution with stakeholders.

What you will do:

Corporate Development & Investments

• Develop and execute WinZO’s growth strategy through partnerships, investments, and M&A opportunities, driving all stages from opportunity identification to fund allocation and execution.
• Build a strong M&A pipeline by analyzing the competitive landscape and engaging with potential targets across gaming, creator economies, content platforms, and security.
• Lead deal negotiations, ensuring partnerships and investments align with WinZO’s strategic vision and deliver long-term value.
• Oversee all aspects of mergers & acquisitions, including due diligence, structuring, and seamless post-deal integration.

Product Management & Growth

• Own and optimize the P&L for key product features, driving growth through user acquisition, retention, and improved user funnels.
• Develop and execute strategies to scale WinZO’s game offerings by collaborating with global gaming studios and indie developers to bring diverse, engaging content to users.
• Identify and drive strategic partnerships that enhance the platform’s value proposition and user experience.
• Take complete ownership of high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders and driving execution with precision.

Global Expansion

• Lead expansion initiatives to scale WinZO beyond India.
• Establish strategic partnerships with local and global stakeholders to drive market penetration and operational efficiency.
• Develop strategies around organizational and financial structuring to support global scalability.

Special Initiatives & Finance Projects

• Act as the project lead for high-priority initiatives to automate and optimise business processes.
• Ideate, refine, and implement new governance frameworks and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency; Support the organization in the closure of different audits to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
• Assist in regulatory and tax strategy development, ensuring compliance with evolving global and domestic policies.

Ideal Candidate: MBA + CA with expertise in M&A, corporate finance, and taxation strategy.
