Position Summary:
The Student Services Assistant supports Human Resources and the Office of Student Services by processing onboarding/offboarding for student workers. This role ensures all onboarding steps are completed accurately and in compliance with federal and university requirements while serving as a point of contact for students and hiring departments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Process onboarding/offboarding for student workers in Workday
Track completion of onboarding tasks and follow up on missing items
Coordinate I-9 verification and ensure students are cleared to start before working
Respond to onboarding questions from students and departments
Maintain accurate and confidential records
Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap
Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information
HR, onboarding, or Workday experience preferred
