Position Summary: 

 

The Student Services Assistant supports Human Resources and the Office of Student Services by processing onboarding/offboarding for student workers. This role ensures all onboarding steps are completed accurately and in compliance with federal and university requirements while serving as a point of contact for students and hiring departments.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Process onboarding/offboarding for student workers in Workday

  • Track completion of onboarding tasks and follow up on missing items

  • Coordinate I-9 verification and ensure students are cleared to start before working

  • Respond to onboarding questions from students and departments

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records

  • Alignment with University mission, vision, and strategic roadmap

  • Other job duties/responsibilities may be assigned

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

  •  High school diploma or equivalent required

  •  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  •  Professional communication skills

  •  Ability to handle confidential information

  •  HR, onboarding, or Workday experience preferred
