Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Windows System Administrator role based in Haryana, India. The Windows System Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers and related systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Daily tasks include monitoring system health, performing regular updates and patches, managing user accounts and permissions, and maintaining backup and recovery procedures. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, providing technical support to internal teams and customers, and documenting configurations, changes, and procedures. The Windows System Administrator will collaborate with other infrastructure and cloud teams to support enterprise environments and contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Windows System Administration and general System Administration skills, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows servers.
- Hands-on experience with Server Administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file/print services.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for server, network, and endpoint issues in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms (such as VMware or Hyper-V) and experience working with on-premise or hybrid cloud infrastructures.
- Understanding of security best practices, patch management, backup/restore procedures, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Ability to read and create technical documentation, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications (such as MCSA/MCSE, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
