Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Windows Server Administrator based in Chennai, with flexibility for some remote work. The Windows Server Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining Windows servers to ensure smooth operations. Daily tasks will include server administration, troubleshooting, system maintenance, applying patch updates, and providing technical support. Collaborating with team members and other departments to address and resolve complex system-related issues is also a key part of the role.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Server Administration and System Administration
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to address system-related challenges
- Proficiency in Patch Management to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure
- Good understanding of network systems and IT infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or similar are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
