Job Overview
We are looking for a local Indian Wind Project Delivery Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of wind power projects in India. The role focuses on production schedule tracking, logistics & transportation management, and cross-departmental coordination, ensuring all wind turbine equipment and project materials are delivered on time, in compliance with quality and project timeline requirements, and support smooth project construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Schedule Follow-up: Track and monitor the full production progress of wind turbine components and project equipment, formulate and update detailed production delivery plans, identify production delays and risks in advance, and coordinate with manufacturing teams to push for rectification and on-time delivery.
2. Logistics & Transportation Management: Take charge of the overall logistics arrangement, transportation scheduling, customs clearance and in-country delivery of wind power equipment and materials in India. Supervise loading, transportation and unloading processes, ensure safe, intact and punctual delivery of on-site materials.
3. Cross-Departmental Communication & Coordination: Act as the core liaison for project delivery, efficiently communicate and collaborate with internal departments including production, procurement, engineering, quality, sales and project construction teams, unify work progress and resolve cross-departmental docking problems.
4. Project Delivery Risk Control: Continuously track key nodes of project delivery, sort out potential risks in production, logistics and link coordination, formulate targeted mitigation plans, regularly report delivery progress and risk status to the management team.
5. Delivery Document & Progress Management: Sort out and archive project delivery documents, logistics records and production tracking reports, compile regular delivery progress reports, ensure the standardization and traceability of the whole delivery process, and support project final acceptance.
Job Requirements
1. Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management or other related majors.
2. Professional Experience: Prior working experience in wind power, new energy, equipment manufacturing or engineering project delivery is preferred; familiar with India’s local logistics transportation rules, supply chain operation modes and wind power project delivery processes.
3. Core Competencies: Possess solid skills in production schedule tracking, logistics arrangement and cross-departmental coordination; capable of independently solving delivery delays, logistics obstacles and inter-departmental docking conflicts.
4. Language & Local Adaptability: Local Indian candidate, fluent in oral and written English and Hindi; familiar with local Indian market policies, transportation conditions and business communication habits, able to adapt to regional project delivery work requirements.
5. Comprehensive Quality: Have strong time management, pressure resistance and execution ability, rigorous and careful work attitude, good team collaboration awareness and problem-solving capabilities, able to efficiently promote project delivery work as scheduled.
