Position Summary: 

As our Materials Handler A, you will have the opportunity to work with a strong and diverse team receiving and

preparing our shipments, ensuring we provide high quality products to our customers and supporting accurate on time deliveries. 

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3-5 years shipping and receiving experience 
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 70+ lbs.
• Strong documentation skills
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Knowledge of domestic and international shipping

Are You Our Next ACE?

• Ensure orders are properly shipped using FedEx, DHL, and UPS software
• Package and label orders accurately for shipment
• Receive and process all orders in the Visual ERP system
• Receive incoming items by accepting deliveries, unpacking shipments, recording identifying information, and entering transactions into the ERP system
• Prepare shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers
• Document shipped items by recording identifying and transportation information
• Maintain inventory levels by assisting with weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventory 
• Utilize core competencies to achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Collaborate with planning and assembly teams to support on-time delivery (OTD) goals
• Support picking and packing of materials
• Partner with the purchasing team to ensure timely processing of receipts and provide cross-functional support within the materials department as needed
• Determine appropriate shipping methods by reviewing outgoing shipments and ensuring they meet customer specifications
• Maintain material quality and control by storing parts in appropriate locations and containers
• Support cost reduction and productivity improvement by accurately tracking job time through labor scanning

Pay Transparency: 

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $18 - $22 per hour, plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
