Noon Duty Supervisor

SUMMARY: To provide assistance to students during the recess/lunch program. This person must supervise students to insure a positive safe environment throughout the play and lunch periods. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned • Supervises students at playtime and lunchtime and maintains a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging peaceful resolution of conflicts. • Organizes group games and activities. • Assumes responsibility for play equipment by inspection guidelines. • Directs movement of groups to and from playground, lunchroom and classrooms in a safe and organized manner. • Assists students in lunch time behavior, in a clean atmosphere. • Keep play area safe from hazard

REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Must be at least 18 years old

Convictions of certain crimes, including but not limited to sex and narcotics offenses and serious and violent felonies, as specified in the California Education and Penal Codes, will bar employment with the District and this contract shall become null and void.
