Our strategic vision focuses on three fundamental aspects: supporting prelease transactions, maintaining our ability to competitively bid projects small and large, and fostering the “altruistic service” corporate culture established by recruiting highly talented individuals of great character.

The Role

The Internal Communications Coordinator plays a key role in shaping and delivering internal communications that support organizational initiatives, change efforts, and business priorities. Working closely with the Senior Director of Internal Communications, this role helps strategize, write, and execute integrated communications plans that ensure employees are informed, aligned, and prepared for what’s ahead.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives—someone who can move seamlessly from planning conversations to content creation to delivery and follow-through.

A strong executor with strategic awareness, they communicate clearly and thoughtfully with a practical approach. Highly organized and proactive, they’re collaborative and service-oriented, and adapt easily while staying comfortable in a fast-moving environment.

What you will accomplish

  • Partner closely with the Senior Director of Internal Communications to strategize, plan, and execute internal communications for organizational initiatives across the full lifecycle—from early planning through execution and sustainment.
  • Support high-visibility communications, including messaging and distribution on behalf of senior leadership and the Office of the CEO, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and timely delivery across key initiatives and events.
  • Meet with project teams, leaders, and functional partners to understand goals, impacts, and timing, and help build clear, effective communications plans for initiatives such as events, product launches, new business lines, system implementations, and process changes.
  • Translate strategy into execution by drafting, editing, and managing a wide range of content, including internal emails, intranet content, presentations (PowerPoint), talking points, FAQs, training resources, and other change-related assets.
  • Own the execution of communication deliverables across internal channels, ensuring plans are delivered accurately, on time, and with consistent messaging.
  • Coordinate timelines, milestones, and deliverables to keep communications and related change activities aligned and moving forward.
  • Manage content and asset workflows from draft through review, approval, and publication in Workzone.
  • Work with Change Management team to gather feedback, track engagement or adoption indicators, and help compile summaries or reports to inform continuous improvement.

What we would like you to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in internal communications, content management, change management, or project coordination (Coordinator level); additional experience for Specialist level.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, employee-friendly content.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort working cross-functionally and with varying levels of the organization.
  • Experience communicating on behalf of senior leadership and the Office of the CEO, with the ability to represent executive voice clearly and effectively.
  • Experience using internal communication tools; i.e. Slack or Teams preferred.
  • Experience using project management systems; i.e. Workzone preferred.
