<strong>About the Role<br></strong><br>
</div><div>We’re hiring a <strong>Senior Designer / Product Development Manager</strong> to own the end-to-end creation of our private label product—from concept to final production.<br><br>
</div><div>This is a <strong>builder role</strong>. You won’t just design—you’ll be responsible for executing, refining, and delivering high-quality product at scale. You’ll work closely with ownership to develop product that aligns with our customer, brand, and growth goals.<br><br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><div>
<strong>Design & Product Creation<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Design seasonal collections with a strong emphasis on <strong>denim (fits, washes, silhouettes)</strong>
</li>
<li>Translate trend insights and customer data into commercially successful product</li>
<li>Develop detailed <strong>tech packs</strong> with all specifications (measurements, materials, trims, construction)</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Product Development & Execution<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Own the full sampling process—from initial concept through final approval</li>
<li>Lead fit sessions, make adjustments, and ensure consistency across styles</li>
<li>Manage communication with domestic and overseas manufacturers</li>
<li>Source fabrics, trims, and washes aligned with brand positioning and margin goals</li>
</ul><div>
<strong>Production & Quality<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Ensure product meets quality standards, fit expectations, and timelines</li>
<li>Troubleshoot production issues and proactively solve for delays or inconsistencies</li>
<li>Maintain clear timelines and calendars for development and launches</li>

<strong>Strategy & Collaboration<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Partner with ownership on product strategy and assortment planning</li>
<li>Help define and evolve Wild Oak’s private label identity</li>
<li>Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams on product launches</li>

<strong>What We’re Looking For<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>5–10+ years experience in <strong>fashion design and/or product development</strong>
</li>
<li>Strong background in <strong>denim (required)</strong> — fits, fabrics, washes, and construction</li>
<li>Proven ability to take a product from <strong>concept → tech pack → sample → production</strong>
</li>
<li>Experience working directly with <strong>overseas factories and vendors</strong>
</li>
<li>Deep understanding of <strong>fit, grading, and garment construction</strong>
</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple styles and timelines</li>
<li>Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment</li>
