Per Diem - As Needed Employment.  Must be available for 8am-4pm and/or 4pm-8pm shifts

Whitney Center is seeking a dependable and professional Per Diem Receptionist to serve as a warm and welcoming first point of contact. This role supports front desk operations by assisting residents, visitors, and team members while ensuring a positive and respectful experience for all.

Requirements

The Per Diem Receptionist serves as a welcoming first point of contact, supporting front desk operations and providing excellent customer service to residents, vistors, and staff.  This role requires professionalism, flexibility, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist residents, visitors, and vendors
  • Answer and direct phone calls; take messages as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk
  • Assist with mail distribution, supplies, and basic administrative tasks
  • Support guest services (check-in/out, transportation, general inquiries)
  • Use company systems and report technical issues
  • Follow safety procedures and assist during weather-related operation

Summary

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Condition of Employment:

 

Candidate must successfully complete Pre-Employment Medical Clearance consisting of a Physical, PPD, Drug Test.
