About the Role: We are seeking an experienced, driven, and agile Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to lead and execute marketing strategies that strengthen Whisker Labs' position as the definitive leader in electrical fire prevention technology and power grid insights. This role is critical to propelling us through our next phase of tremendous growth and brand awareness. In this role, you will build and lead a high-performing team across all marketing functions—strategy, creative, digital, brand, and public relations. You'll seamlessly move from high-level strategy to day-to-day execution to drive both B2B and D2C initiatives that deliver measurable growth. You thrive in a fast-moving environment, bring deep expertise in growth and brand marketing, and excel at leading through ambiguity and scale. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you'll partner closely with the senior leadership team to drive growth. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Marketing Leadership: Define and own the integrated marketing strategy that fuels brand growth, demand generation, partner success, and consumer engagement. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Build, scale, and lead a high-performing marketing team by hiring top talent, fostering professional growth, and cultivating a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability. Brand Awareness: Lead multi-channel campaigns that elevate national brand recognition and drive awareness at scale. Partner Marketing: Lead partner marketing strategy and drive playbooks and co-branded campaigns that amplify joint value and drive measurable growth. Growth Marketing Strategy: Oversee multichannel D2C marketing programs across digital, social, email, and web. Brand and Creative: Own and evolve Whisker Labs' brand identity and guide the creative vision to ensure all marketing deliverables deliver impact and brand consistency. Social Media Excellence: Oversee the strategy for all social media platforms, ensuring engaging content, robust community management, and alignment with brand voice. Public Relations Strategy: Manage PR agency to shape and implement media strategies that build credibility, amplify reach, and drive positive brand narratives. Event & Tradeshow Strategy: Oversee tradeshow and event marketing efforts that maximize brand visibility, audience engagement, and business development opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, customer success, and sales teams to align marketing efforts and drive outcomes across the customer journey.
