About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect or Azure Cloud Lead to design, architect, and implement enterprise-scale cloud, data, and AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role is focused on cloud infrastructure, platform architecture, security, containerization, and AI enablement rather than application development.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure services, Kubernetes, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, cloud security, and enterprise architecture. The individual will lead cloud transformation initiatives, define technical roadmaps, and drive the adoption of AI-powered solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Cloud Architecture
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud architectures.
- Define cloud adoption frameworks, landing zones, governance, and operational best practices.
- Architect enterprise-grade cloud platforms leveraging Azure-native services.
AI & Data Platform Architecture
- Design AI-enabled solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning (AzureML), and Databricks.
- Drive GenAI and LLM adoption across business use cases.
- Architect modern data platforms supporting analytics, AI, and machine learning workloads.
Containerization & Platform Engineering
- Lead containerization initiatives using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Build resilient, scalable, and automated deployment architectures.
- Establish best practices around cloud-native architecture and platform engineering.
Security & Governance
- Implement enterprise security controls using Azure Key Vault, Identity & Access Management (IAM), RBAC, Managed Identities, and Azure Policies.
- Ensure compliance with cloud governance, security, and operational standards.
- Drive cost optimization and cloud operational excellence initiatives.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, architects, and leadership teams.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction for cloud modernization programs.
- Mentor cloud engineers and establish architecture standards across projects.
