Job Description

Functions:
· Maintain, monitor, and improve backend IT systems for wind farm deployment and updates.
· Automate system administration tasks to optimize performance, security, and uptime.
· Proactively mitigate security risks through threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and security patching.
· Monitor critical infrastructure components such as TLS certificates, storage capacity, and system availability.
· Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
· Develop and implement concepts for infrastructure hardening, observability, and scalability.
· Provide lab support and ensure smooth operation of development and testing environments.
Qualification/Training:
· Strong Linux expertise (Debian, Ubuntu, Proxmox).
· Proficiency in automation and scripting (Ansible, Bash, Python).
· Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, LXD).
· Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, Ansible).
· Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools (tracing, metrics, logging).
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (GitLab, GitHub).
· Cloud infrastructure experience (Azure Portal & DevOps).
· Proficiency in Cloud-Init and provisioning tools.
· Understanding of software architecture for system reliability.
· Familiarity with MinIO, Apache, Nginx, Ubuntu repositories, and Ansible Galaxies.
· Fluent English skills are required; German and Spanish language skills are a plus.
