JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY OF ROLE 

Perform specified tasks in the manufacturing processing of plastic parts involving injection molding and support equipment.

 

 

 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (bullet point form)

  • Communicate to the lead and QCIT any issues associated with the work area.
  • Perform all tasks according to the Quality Assurance Manufacturing Plans and Operator Instructions (The proper performance and accuracy for all operator job functions including procedures, trimming, packaging, quality, production rates, rework, etc.).
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Maintain and obtain proper tools and supplies for specified jobs.
  • Responsible for safety and housekeeping in the assigned work area.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS (bullet point or paragraph form)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, or 6 months experience in the manufacturing industry.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

  • This position involves frequent bending, moving, lifting, and carrying material weighing up to 50 pounds; standing up to eight hours each day exposure to high noise levels, and require wearing hearing protection.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is usually in an office within a manufacturing facility with low to moderate noise levels. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
