The Knights Music and Dance Academy is expanding its faculty and inviting passionate, skilled, and dedicated Western Music Teachers to join our growing team. As Noida’s first academy focused on authentic Western classical and contemporary music training, we aim to build a nurturing, professional, and inspiring learning environment for students of all ages.
We are seeking teachers in the following departments:
- Guitars (Acoustic/Electric/Classical/Bass/Ukulele)
- Piano
- Drums
- Western Vocals
Candidates residing in Noida or nearby areas will be given preference to ensure convenience, punctuality, and long-term availability.
Job Description:
As a Western Music Teacher at The Knights Music and Dance Academy, you will guide students through structured lessons, train them in technique and performance, and cultivate genuine musicality. You will help shape the academy’s artistic culture while contributing to recitals, events, and examinations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Music Instruction and Training
- Teach students of various age groups and skill levels in Western musical techniques.
- Provide structured lessons in your field of expertise (Vocals/Guitar/Piano/Drums).
- Develop personalised and level-appropriate lesson plans.
- Train students in sight-reading, ear training, rhythm, musical expression, and repertoire building.
- Prepare students for graded examinations (Trinity, ABRSM, Rockschool, LCME, MTB).
- Offer constructive feedback to help students improve technically and artistically.
Performance and Examination Preparation
- Prepare students for academy recitals, performances, studio showcases, and competitions.
- Select suitable repertoire for student performances.
- Assist in organising rehearsals and coordinating stage requirements.
- Mentor students for theory and practical examination readiness.
Student Engagement and Coordination
- Create a friendly, motivating, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Encourage musical exploration, creativity, and performance confidence.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding progress, attendance, and goals.
- Collaborate with fellow faculty for events, cross-department projects, and concerts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or advanced training in Music/Performing Arts (preferred).
- Strong proficiency and performance experience in your instrument/field.
- Prior teaching experience with children and adults.
- Ability to teach both beginners and advanced-level students.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Familiarity with Western music theory, techniques, and global repertoire.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and contributing to a growing academy.
